This Spring break, many Ballard students had a good time whether they stayed home or traveled far distances. No matter what they did, many Ballard students recalled having memorable experiences that they don’t plan on forgetting anytime soon. Among the students interviewed, 2 Ballard sophomores had very different experiences at very different price points
Nick Fish, a Ballard Sophomore, while attending an Easter party at his grandparent’s, was tasked with making two dishes at the last minute. The two dishes being Beignets and cinnamon banana muffins. Fortunately, he not only made it, but his relatives described his recipes as tasty and delectable.
Elijah Christian, a Ballard Sophomore traveled to Indonesia for Spring Break. While there he rode ATVs, and tried 15 different flavours at a coffee plantation. He also made Jewelry at an Indonesian Jewelry craftshop. He also recalls his mom falling of an ATV
“ I stayed at a majestic villa with a private pool,” he says, describing his accommodations while there. He also says that he spent significantly less than he expected to”
These experiences prove that no matter what your price point is, you can have unforgettable, yet stressful experiences. Whether you stay home or travel the distance, you could still have memorable fun with the people that you cherish.
