We have a wonderful library at Ballard, filled with tons of books, every student can find something they enjoy. With this in mind, of course we have a club dedicated to reading and enjoying some of these books!
This month in the Ballard book club, members are picking out items and books to bedazzle with rhinestones, a very crafty and fun activity for book (and bedazzling) lovers! One member, Dolores Wood who is a senior here at Ballard, is reading ¨A Mango Shaped Space¨ by Wendy Mass, a novel about individuality and a journey of self acceptance.
Students in the book club are reading seperate books instead of the typical method of reading just one book together. One thing that those who are thinking of joining the club should know is that the atmosphere in the library during the club´s meetings is very chill and easygoing. If you enjoy books or just want a relaxing environment to stay in, joining the book club is the way to go!
