Band/orchestra is an amazing way to cope with the soft and comforting tone is the best way for me to get through difficult times through life, and can many different styles of music can so when I hear that my high school has an performance I try to be there, cause orchestra makes you feel calm sometimes with some of the soft melodies and tone put you at peace but this whole week the starting today(Monday) they are rehearsing and Tuesday through Thursday they have KMEA orchestra (cases) and later on KMEA orchestra assessments long with at 4pm choir KMEA pre assessment concert for the concert they are preform all next month in April for now they have spring musical rehearsal and build time from the 15th of march to the 21, I feel that music teach me a lot about mental health and bettering me as a person when I have an opportunity I listen to jazz and things of that nature to get my mind off the world.
I love orchestra because it makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger than just myself. When I play, I learn discipline, teamwork, and focus, and those skills help me in other parts of my life too. Orchestra also gives me a way to express my emotions without having to say anything out loud. I’ve built real friendships with people who share the same passion for music, and that connection means a lot to me. Performing a piece together and hearing all our hard work come together is one of the best and most unforgettable feelings I’ve experienced and that’s what really makes me wanna go to the concerts and things of that nature to build and connection and learn from better myself.
