You should come to the Ballard band concert!
This upcoming concert is about chamber music. that is happening on February 26th, 2026. The wind and symphonic band is playing chamber music with percussion. Our goal for this piece of music is to get people together and have a growth as an ensemble. I have spoken with Mr. Kling, the band director who is excited about this upcoming concert and explained to me why this upcoming concert is gonna be amazing. This concert is basically going to be where we have small groups that are going to be playing in different sections and where we have the bigger group where the Wind Ensemble is playing their piece and the symphonic band is playing their piece. The smaller sections that we have is a trumpet choir choir that has 13 people in it, and then we have saxophones where they are going to be playing the song called summertime, and then we have the tubas that are going to be playing the song tuba Juba duba. And lastly the four clarinets playing clarinet rhapsody. I have also spoken with Trevor Heitz and asked how he felt about the upcoming concert and he said that “I feel good about it. We practice every day in class and the pieces aren’t that hard. We’ve put a lot of work into it and I like the pieces” with all of this, I believe that all the music that we are playing is going to be amazing and that you should come and join us and watch us play chamber music and see how well we work so hard to make this happen.
