Ballard boys soccer beat the odds at Tuesday nights game against Trinity high school, after long awaited talk about how bad this game was going to be,that Ballard stands no chance, they proved a lot of people wrong by not winning or loosing. There was a lot of talk during the game as well, many students were saying things to Trinity’s team “Daddy’s money,” and “private school trash.” There was lots of talk about this game at least a week leading up to it, and they even had a small student section which rarely happens at any other sports besides Football and Basketball.

The game started off intensely and both teams had good defense, making the first goal scored by Ballard to end the first half. But at around the 10 minute mark in the second half Trinity scored to tie the game. Sophomore Sawyer Neuss said that the main thing the team needs to work on is communication and offense, many teammates agree and it is something they are actively working on to have a positive affect on the team for future games and seasons.

This game did end Ballard’s 4 game winning streak, but Ballard went home happy as they haven’t lost a game since September 2nd. For the first time this season, Trinity was forced to settle for a Tie making their record 13-0-1, while Ballard’s record is now 7-5-1. As for the upcoming games, Ballard is set to face off against Elizabethtown at 7:00 pm on Friday the 19th and hope to continue the no loss streak.
