As the pep rally came to an end and students left the gym, a student chose to throw a metal water bottle in the air, resulting in a concussion. The water bottle hit another student in the head. There is a lack of information surrounding the situation due to the fact that the student body was leaving the gym.
The most information we currently have is that it was a black metal water bottle and came from the left side of the gym close to the doors. No one has come forward and admitted that they were the one who threw it, but witnesses believe the guilty party was a junior because they were dismissed after the sophomores and the freshman. Juniors and seniors were separated in the gym and the commotion came from the left side of the gym. Some witnesses believe they saw a tall, brown headed male with curly hair around that area but no one saw an individual throw the bottle.
Students are asked to remain safe at pep rallies. Updates to this story will be made as more information becomes available.
